PHOTOS: Come Explore EPCOT’s Florida Blue Lounge With Us
With the removal of the Restaurant Marrakesh entrance sign earlier this month, it has become clear that the iconic World Showcase restaurant will not reopen.
For nearly 25 years, Restaurant Marrakesh was a hidden gem in EPCOT’s Morocco pavilion, providing guests with an authentic Moroccan dining experience in a beautiful dining room.

The question now is how Disney will utilize the space going forward.
This summer, Restaurant Marrakesh once again housed the V.I.PASSHOLDER Days lounge.

With the special Annual Passholder festivities at an end, however, the Morocco pavilion eatery has been transformed into something new.
Introducing the Florida Blue Lounge
During this year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, Florida Blue members once again have the opportunity to visit the Florida Blue Lounge in Restaurant Marrakesh.

Inside, members have the opportunity to take a break and relax, enjoy beverages, and even create their own personalized mosaic tile!

Finally, inside the lounge, guests have the opportunity to request reserved seating for the Eat to the Beat Concert series!
Our Visit to the Lounge
When visiting EPCOT today, we decided to head over and check out the Florida Blue Lounge.
It’s free to visit, but you must register here to enter.

The lounge is open daily from 12PM until 6PM.
Complimentary Beverages
Inside the Restaurant Marrakesh, Florida Blue members can relax with complimentary beverages including Moroccan mint tea, cold brew coffee, and gold old-fashioned water.

A sign located near the refreshments highlights the importance of hydration.

Here is another look at the station.

New Decor
Throughout the Restaurant Marrakesh dining room, Florida Blue banners have been hung, and informational decor has been placed on the tables.

Here is another look.

The restaurant still looks stunning, and the hand-tiled decor is as impressive as always!

You Can Create Your Own Mosaic Tile!
In addition to cooling down, visitors to the lounge can create their own sand art mosaic tile.

The complementary activity allows members to choose 10 or fewer gems to decorate their mosaic charm.

After choosing their treasures and mosaic shape, the art takes about 15 minutes to dry.

When completed, guests have a unique souvenir to bring home!

Eat to the Beat Reserved Seating
Finally, the first 75 members to visit the Florida Blue Lounge can reserve seating for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

They are given a wristband to enter the designated area later in the evening.
If you are a Florida Blue member, be sure to stop by the new lounge. It is the perfect place to relax during your day at EPCOT.
