WATCH: See How Imagineers Improved Haunted Mansion Holiday’s Oogie Boogie Animatronic
With Halloween Time now underway at Disneyland, the resort has come alive with happy haunts, spooktacular decor, and terrifyingly tasty treats.
However, the crown jewel of Disneyland’s Halloween festivities is Haunted Mansion Holiday, which returned to Disneyland Park last month.

As is tradition, Jack Skellington, Sally, and the rest of Halloween Town’s inhabitants have once again taken over the Haunted Mansion for a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed experience.

If you know all the words to “What’s This?”, love blending Halloween and Christmas, or have always wanted a Vampire Teddy, this is the attraction for you!
A New and Improved Oogie Boogie
In a new video posted on Instagram, Walt Disney Imagineering shared a behind-the-scenes look at the updated Oogie Boogie animatronic, who now calls Haunted Mansion Holiday home.

According to Imagineers, the figure was rebuilt from the ground up, with improvements made to his posing.

Updated the mechanics and animation of the figure allowed Imagineers to create an even more animated Oogie Boogie, who will delight guests through the holiday season.
