Shawn Levy Shares a First Look at Ryan Gosling in ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’
While we are still months away from The Mandalorian & Grogu making Star Wars‘ triumphant return to theaters, filming is already underway on Star Wars: Starfighter.
Set to hit theaters in 2027, Starfighter will be set six years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker and will see Ryan Gosling join the galaxy far, far away.

“The reality is that this script is just so good. It has such a great story with great and original characters,” Gosling teased. “It’s filled with so much heart and adventure, and there just really is not a more perfect filmmaker for this particular story than Shawn.”
A Star-Studded Cast
Directed by Shawn Levy, Starfighter will also star Flynn Gray, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, Mia Goth, and Amy Adams.

Shawn Levy Shares a First Look From Set
While we are still 19 months away from Starfighter’s debut in theaters, Shawn Levy has revealed that filming on the movie is underway.
The Deadpool & Wolverine filmmaker took to Instagram today to share a photo of Gosling and Gray on set.
