‘Camp Rock 3’ Is Officially A Go With the Jonas Brothers Returning; Demi Lovato Producing
The Jonas Brothers are heading back to Camp Rock, as Disney has officially greenlit a third installment in the beloved Disney Channel franchise.
Joe Jonas, who will reprise his role as Shane Gray, posted a video from set today, showing crew members working hard.

Wandering through Camp Rock in a leather jacket, Jonas recalled a fan-favorite scene. “I’m Shane Gray, for crying out loud!” he declared.
In a second video posted to the official Jonas Brothers account, all three brothers recreated the classic Camp Rock scene.

Connect 3 Is Returning to Camp Rock
The Camp Rock 3 logline reveals that Connect 3 returns to Camp Rock in search of a new opening act.
“Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances,” the synopsis explains.

“Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), drummer with his own beat Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreo queen Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean) and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).”
What About Lovato?
While the Jonas Brothers will reprise their roles as Connect 3, it is not clear if Demi Lovato will return as Mitchie Torres.

As of this writing, it appears that Lovato will only be involved in the project as an executive producer.
Camp Rock 3 is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye. Jamal Sims will choreograph the film, while the Jonas Brothers, Tim Federle, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh serve as executive producers alongside Lovato.
