Lindsay Lohan “May Have Already” Called Disney About ‘The Parent Trap 2’
Just weeks after reprising her role as Tess Coleman and reuniting with Jamie Lee Curtis for Freakier Friday, Lindsay Lohan may have her sights set on another sequel project.
At last evening’s Emmy Awards, The Parent Trap stars Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix, who portrayed Chessy and Meredith Blake, were asked about the possibility of a sequel to their beloved 1997 comedy.
“I mean, are you listening, Disney?” Walter quipped.

“Yeah, a lot of people walk about it. A lot of people want it. We’re totally game,” Hendrix added. “I think we’re just waiting.”
Lohan May Have Already Made the Call
It is no secret that the creation of Freakier Friday came about after Jamie Lee Curtis called Disney and highlighted the pent-up demand for the film that she saw from fans.

When it was suggested that Lohan should do the same about The Parent Trap 2, both Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter teased that the call had already been made.
“I think Lindsay may have already done that,” Walter said.

“But we can neither confirm nor deny,” Hendrix cut in.
Will We See a ‘Parent Trap 2’
For those who may not remember, The Parent Trap was a remake of the beloved 1961 Hayley Mills film.

The Parent Trap
The movie starred Lohan as twin sisters, identical twins Annie and Hallie, who are separated at birth and each raised by one of their biological parents. The mayhem starts when the twins discover each other for the first time at summer camp and make a plan to bring their wayward parents back together.
While it remains to be seen if The Parent Trap 2 comes to fruition, it sounds like the film’s principal cast would be game.

Perhaps, then, we will see Annie and Hallie again after all.
