Our morning includes a monorail tour, stunning views, and a behind-the-scenes look at the newly refurbished Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Top of the World Lounge at Contemporary Resort’s Bay Lake Tower
Our morning started off in the Top of the World Lounge at Contemporary Resort’s Bay Lake Tower, where we learned about the exclusive lounge and took in the stunning views.

This lounge is exclusive to DVC guests staying on property, and seriously, check out the surrounding landscape.

The Top of the World Lounge transforms into a sinister Villain’s Lair on select nights.

The Wicked Wind Down is $55 per person, and it includes a delicious cocktail and an appetizer from the lounge’s Disney Villains-themed menu.

The experience also includes a dessert from the chef’s Dessert of the Day selection.

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Next, we visited a newly refurbished 2-Bedroom Villa at Bay Lake Tower, which features one king bed, two queen beds, one queen-size sleeper sofa, and one twin-size sleeper chair.

Bay Lake Tower is within walking distance of Magic Kingdom and offers studios and multi-bedroom villas with kitchens or kitchenettes and dramatic views.
DVC offers two-bedroom villas with resort views, preferred views, and theme park views. Here is a great look at the fully equipped kitchen.

There is a lot of space for everyone to spread out, and the rooms sleep up to nine guests and one infant.

Our other stop was the newest addition to the Monorail Resorts, the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
How stunning is the Deluxe Studio? The newest Disney Vacation Club addition, these rooms are bursting with themed spaces that bring the adventurous spirit of Polynesia to life like never before.

The earth-themed rooms showcase the flora and fauna of the islands in elegant touches throughout.

The rooms accommodate up to four guests and include a kitchenette with a dishwasher.
And of course, an outdoor patio with stunning views!

A brightly colored bathroom makes getting ready for a day at the park fun and functional.

We also had the opportunity to tour a 1-Bedroom Villa.
These luxurious rooms are water-inspired and feature themed artwork and inspiring decor.
The villas sleep up to five guests and feature an outdoor patio with views of Bay Lake.
There is also a full kitchen…
…and a great spacious living area with plenty of relaxing areas and a flat-screen TV.
Two bathrooms make getting ready for a day at the parks quick and easy.

And the island-themed bedrooms are the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
One of the best perks of staying at the villas is access to the exclusive Wave Break Terrace.
The exclusive lounge is located on the fifth floor and is a great place to relax, take in the breeze, or enjoy the nightly fireworks.
The new villas are amazing, and we loved checking out the Bay Lake Tower and Island Tower today.
