PHOTOS: Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland Entrance Sign Has Returned in All Its Glory
Last month, we brought you the news that the Adventureland entrance sign had been removed at Magic Kingdom.
The removal came amid a period of change at Disney World’s flagship park, with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed for refurbishment, the demolition of The Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island underway, and numerous projects unfolding in Tomorrowland.

Against this backdrop, there was plenty of speculation that the Adventureland sign would be radically changed. This only intensified when the sign’s structure was also removed.
The Adventureland Sign Has Returned
Well, it is my pleasure to announce that our long national nightmare is over, and the Adventureland entrance sign has returned.

As you can see, the sign looks essentially the same as it did before, albeit with a slightly darker color scheme.

Here is another look at the skull and arrows that greet guests on their way into Adventureland.

I am happy to report that the sign looks great!

The totems and other details have also been refurbished.

Both sides of the sign itself continue to be adorned with decor.

Here is the other side.

Finally, here is a view of the back of the sign.

All in all, the sign looks amazing. It is great to see it reinstalled and refurbished!
Next time you visit Adventureland, stop and take in the details.
