PHOTOS: A Maze of Construction Walls Greets Guests in DinoLand, U.S.A.
Earlier this month, the countdown to extinction for Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand, U.S.A., ticked down another notch with the closing of The Boneyard.
As a quick recap, Disney announced last year that DinoLand would be demolished and replaced with a new Tropical Americas land.

To ensure that fans got the chance to say goodbye to their favorite prehistoric creatures, DinoLand is closing in phases.
Things kicked off earlier this year with the demolition of Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama.

With the closure of The Boneyard, only DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, and Trilo-Bites remain open.
The Latest From Animal Kingdom
When visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, we were able to see that progress has already been made on the demolition of The Boneyard.

Guests visiting DinoLand, U.S.A., are currently greeted by a maze of construction walls.

As you can see, the walls are decorated with concept art for the upcoming Tropical Americas land.

In addition to an overview of the land, a mural featuring the Encanto attraction has been installed.

There is also artwork depicting the upcoming Indiana Jones attraction.

As you can see, there are butterflies and other icons plastering the walls.

Here is another look.

Directional signs have also been installed to point guests to the remaining DinoLand attractions.

Finally, above the Tropical Americas-themed construction walls, we can see that the demolition of the Oldengate Bridge has begun.

The Construction Walls Are Here To Stay
With the rest of DinoLand set to remain open until February 2026, guests will have to get used to this construction-filled version of the area.

Clearly, Disney has a lot of work ahead of it.
