WATCH: Steve Harvey Doesn’t Seem to Know a Disney Princess From the Last 60 Years
While Richard Dawson will always be the man who established Family Feud as the quintessential American game show, Steve Harvey has become synonymous with the franchise.
Since assuming the hosting role on Family Feud in 2010, Harvey has become beloved for his banter with contestants, quick quips, and viral moments.

Recently, however, the emcee proved that he’s not much of a Disney fan.
Harvey Is Left Stunned by the Recent Disney Princesses
In a new viral video making the rounds on social media, Harvey asked Family Feud contestants, “Tell me a female Disney character a Disney-loving mom might name her daughter.”

As the players began to make their guesses, it quickly became clear that Harvey was not up to date on newer Disney films.
During the round, Harvey was incredulous as contestants first named Moana and Tiana.

Perhaps more surprisingly, however, he also didn’t know Ariel.
“Who are y’all talking about?” he quipped.

When the Lattimore family decided to play the round, a man named Shahaun was tasked with giving another Disney name.
Harvey had little faith in the contestant.
“I know good and hell well that you don’t know this. Put the X on the board,” Harvey said.

Much to his surprise, Shahaun answered “Belle,” which was one of the answers.
It wasn’t until a contestant named Peggy guessed “Cinderella” that Harvey heard a name he knew.

‘“Oh, now you want to try to be regular. Oh, now you want to name the baby Cinderella,” he said.

All in all, it was a memorable round of Family Feud, even if it was cringeworthy for Disney fans.
