PHOTOS: The New World of Disney Opening Key Ceremony Is Pure Disney Magic
If you are a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World, you know that there are numerous opening celebrations across the resort.
From the Magic Kingdom welcome show to the Casey’s Corner sing-along, there are all kinds of ways to start your morning with some Disney magic. You just have to know where to look.

With that in mind, I want to turn your attention to Disney Springs, where a new opening ceremony has debuted.
World of Disney Opening Key Ceremony
Guests visiting World of Disney as the store opens can now participate in an opening key ceremony!
The festivities begin as Cast Members gather outside Disney Springs’ flagship shop.
From there, a very special lock is highlighted.
A young guest is then chosen to open the lock using a giant key and a little bit of Disney magic!
After the lock is turned, World of Disney is officially open and ready to welcome shoppers.
The New Tradition Began Last Weekend
If this process sounds familiar, it should! Previously, Disney Stores across the country had a similar tradition.
