Let’s Dig Into the NEW Items at Disney California Adventure’s Lamplight Lounge!
We’re coming to you from the Disneyland Resort, where new food is everywhere!
The Spell Bar – Award Wieners
We’ve been digging into many of those items–as one does when new food arrives–including the Spell Bar from Award Wieners, the Celestial Chocolate Churro from Terran Treats, the Loaded Chicken Quesadilla from Paradise Garden Grill, the Barbacoa Sope from the Cozy Cones, and the wildly popular Pumpkin Cookies from Harbour Galley.

But if you know us, then you know we’re not done tasting the new dishes around the resort. (We are self-proclaimed Disney foodies, after all.) So, without further delay, let’s head to a fan-favorite restaurant in Disney California Adventure to try their new offerings!

There are two new dishes at Lamplight Lounge! Let’s give them a taste.

The Beer-battered Onion Blossom is one of the new menu items, served with Toasted Chile Aïoli, Charred Green Onion Crema, Lemon & Lime Wedges, and Cilantro. It costs $18.

The deep-fried onion is extremely similar to the “Bloomin’ Onion” at Outback Steakhouse. (If you know, you know.)
It’s well-seasoned, crispy, and has a nice kick of heat, courtesy of the Toasted Chile Aïoli. Overall, this is a great appetizer addition for the menu!

The other new menu item is the Thai Seafood Pasta, which costs $35. The pasta has Thai Curry Cioppino, Coconut-steamed Clams & Mussels, Shrimp, Pan-seared Fish, Spaghetti, Sourdough Bread Crumbs, Crispy Shallots, Thai Basil, Cilantro, and a Lime Wedge.

This is perfect for seafood-lovers! The Thai Curry sauce is buttery, while maintaining its spicy flavor. The pan-seared fish practically melts in your mouth–which also goes for the jumbo shrimp and mussels.
