A Look Inside the Newly Renovated Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside
We see a ton of refurbishments happening around Disney World — it takes a lot of work to maintain everything around the resort! This includes refreshing and refurbishing the hotel rooms on property to ensure they meet Disney’s high standards.
For some time now, the rooms at a popular moderate resort have been undergoing refurbishment. And today, we got a peek inside one of them thanks to one of our MickeyTravels agents!
Port Orleans — Riverside Refurbished Rooms
The rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside have recently undergone a big refurbishment, and we’re taking you inside of one right now! This is just a standard room with two queen beds.
For reference, this is what the rooms used to look like:

A ton of different details have been added! The beds have new headboards and these murals of the bayou.
The sliding barn door to the bathroom also has a new look. And, there’s a new shelving area along with a new dresser and countertop situation.
There is also a new seating area…
…and new artwork on the walls! It’s all themed to The Princess and the Frog.
Finally, the bathrooms got an update, too! You can now get ready in style while you’re staying at Port Orleans — Riverside.
