Disneyland Wait Times for September 2025

The most magical season of all has arrived at The Happiest Place on Earth!

Sure, some may say that’s Christmas, but they’d be wrong. It’s Halloween time!

Before we get to the good stuff, we should look back at the past month, though.

Here are the Disneyland wait times for September 2025.

Haunted Mansion Holiday has opened at Disneyland Park. That’s pretty much all I need to tell you.

In cartoon terms, there’s now a cloud of smoke in your shape where you just were, right?

I don’t blame you. There’s no Disneyland tradition quite like the return of Haunted Mansion in its spooky form.

So, that’s the reason why everyone was visiting during the second half of August.

As a reminder, we’re talking about last month’s wait times since I can’t see the future.

Thus, the question becomes whether the Southern California heat impacted the crowds.

Anecdotally, that didn’t seem to be the case, but it’s a challenging thing to quantify without data.

We do know that the park was mobbed on the first day of Haunted Mansion Holiday 2025, though.

• Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 55 minutes, down 7
• Space Mountain – 50 minutes, down 2
• Indiana Jones Adventure – 48 minutes, down 3
• Haunted Mansion Holiday – 43 minutes, up 8
• Matterhorn Bobsleds – 42 minutes, down 12
• Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin – 41 minutes, down 1
• Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – 39 minutes, up 5
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – 33 minutes, down 2
• Meet Mickey at Mickey’s House – 32 minutes, up 6
• Peter Pan’s Flight – 31 minutes, down 1
• Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 28 minutes, down 7
• Alice in Wonderland – 26 minutes, no change
• Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster – 24 minutes, down 5

Overall, guests stood in line for an average of 27 minutes per attraction last month.

That’s the same as the prior month, and Disneyland will always take that.

Realistically, we should expect some drop from July to August. That didn’t happen this time.

So, it’s a strong indicator of VERY good August attendance at The Happiest Place on Earth.

The fascinating thing about Halloween at Disney is that Disney California Adventure does more than Disneyland Park.

Several attractions here receive holiday overlays, including the big one.

Each year, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark debuts, and it’s wildly popular.

However, that one’s a bit different from Haunted Mansion Holiday in that its attendance revs up in October.

Typically, the lesser rides here get more of a boost for their Halloween overlays.

Was that the case this past month? Here are Disney California Adventure’s average wait times:

• Radiator Springs Racers – 82 minutes, up 9
• Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark – 61 minutes, down 9
• Soarin’ Around the World – 48 minutes, down 13
• Toy Story Midway Mania! – 48 minutes, up 1
• Grizzly River Run – 43 minutes, up 3
• WEBSLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure – 40 minutes, down 1
• Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! – 39 minutes, up 2
• Goofy’s Sky School – 38 minutes, down 2
• Pixar Pal-A-Round – 31 minutes, up 3
• Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree – 21 minutes, no change
• Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween – 18 minutes, down 5
• Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind – 15 minutes, down 2
• Mickey’s PhilharMagic – 13 minutes, up 1
• Silly Symphony Swings – 12 minutes, no change
• Golden Zephyr – 11 minutes, no change
• Jumpin’ Jellyfish – 11 minutes, down 1
• Jessie’s Critter Carousel – 8 minutes, no change

Overall, Disney California Adventure guests stood in line for an average of 32 minutes.

That’s the same average as the previous month.

So, we can safely say that Disneyland Resort held steady in August compared to July.

There’s a debate to be had about whether the July heat is keeping the crowds from the parks.

Still, I think Disney’s probably quite happy with this news.
