Marvel Comics Is Celebrating 70 Years of The Muppets With New Variant Covers
As crazy as it sounds, The Muppets are officially marking 70 years in the entertainment industry this year, and Disney has been celebrating in all kinds of unique ways.
Throughout the year, we saw Muppet 70 merchandise debut, a special Disney Skyliner wrap premiere, and Kermit pop up all over the place.

Now, Marvel Comics is getting in on the fun.
Marvel Muppet Variant Covers Are Coming
To commemorate 70 years of The Muppets, Marvel will be releasing a set of 10 variant covers on select comic books.

These variants will reimagine some of Marvel’s most iconic issues, such as Spider-Man’s first appearance and the original Secret Wars comic.
If you have ever wondered what it would be like for The Electric Mayhem assembled as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes or Miss Piggy got control of the Infinity Gauntlet, you will soon find out.

The ten Muppets variant covers will be released throughout October. The release schedule will go as follows:

- Venom #250 (October 1)
- Amazing Spider-Man: Torn #1 (October 18)
- Avengers #31 (October 8)
- Spider-Man & Wolverine $6 (October 8)
- Amazing Spider-Man #14 (October 15)
- Captain America #4 (October 15)
- Incredible Hulk #30 (October 15)
- Fantastic Four #4 (October 22)
- Battleworld #2 (October 22).
