Disney Celebrates the Opening of the First Disney Store in Latin America
If you live anywhere near a Disney Store, you know that the shops deliver the same kind of magic and joy that you feel when perusing a store at Walt Disney World or Disneyland.
There was a time in the 1990s when Disney Stores were omnipresent staples in malls, bringing Disney souvenirs, apparel, and kitchenware to your neighborhood.

Although there are no longer as many brick-and-mortar Disney Stores as there once were, Disney continues to invest in the shops.
A Disney Store Milestone
Today, Carla Goncalves Pereira, Latam Head of Market Consumer Products & Games, took to LinkedIn to celebrate the first opening of a Disney Store in Latin America.

The new shop opened on August 22 at Liverpool Perisur in Mexico City.
“Seeing thousands of fans lined up until late at night, mariachis performing Disney classics, and the joy on people’s faces as Mickey and Minnie arrived – it was a powerful reminder of what Disney means to so many. To live this day alongside our teams and our fans was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Pereira wrote.

“From the castle centerpiece to the brand-new Toy Story interactive area, every detail was designed to bring the magic of Disney closer to our fans – creating happiness and lasting memories for thousands of families”.
