Everything Announced About the Disney Villains at D23!
Today was already an exciting day at Destination D23, and the “Disney Villains: Icons of Evil” panel was the place to be!
The morning panel revealed plenty of surprises, including a lively villainous medley and appearances by Michael James Scott and Jodi Benson.

Fans were also treated to a first look at upcoming projects, shows, and products around Disney’s most devious characters. Here is a recap of everything announced about the Disney Villains!
Villain News
The biggest update came when Imagineers Caroline May and Wyatt Winter shared insights into the villains-themed land coming to Magic Kingdom.
Inspired by European Art Nouveau architecture, the new land promises bold design and immersive storytelling.
The team shared how Imagineers have been busy working bhind the scenes to bring this villainous vision to life, and shared some great insight into the extensive research that went into the land before construction even began.
At Disney California Adventure, Oogie Boogie Bash is getting ready for the debut of Syndrome, its newest character.
Fans can meet the snarky super-villain for the first time at his treat trail near Pixar Pier during the party, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and Villains Grove.

Disney Cruise Line also shared a fun new “meet and play” character encounter! Dr. Facilier will be making appearances on the Disney Destiny this November, interacting with fans in the ship’s Grand Hall.
Hong Kong Disneyland is joining in the Villain fun. The park will soon launch Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party on September 19, combining cavalcade, street show, and your favorite villains with Maleficent at the center.

And we can’t forget the new merchandise! Fans love their villain-inspired products, and they won’t be disappointed.

A new Bath & Body Works villains collection will launch in stores on September 3, highlighting scents inspired by Maleficent and the Evil Queen.
And speaking of evil–Mattel announced a new Ursula doll for its Darkness Descends Series, available September 7.
