Glenn Powell Heads Back to College in First ‘Chad Powers’ Trailer
Glen Powell is coming to Hulu later this month for Chad Powers, a new sports comedy based on Eli Manning’s character for Eli Places.
Debuting on September 30, Chad Powers follows the story of a disgraced college football quarterback, Russ Holliday, who disguises himself as the talented and affable Chad Powers to join a struggling football team at a low-ranked Southern university, thereby attempting to revive his football career.

Joining Powell in the series are Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Clayne Crawford, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Colton Ryan, Keese Wilson, Xavier Mills, and Quentin Plair.
The show was created by Powell and Loki showrunner Michael Waldron.

The Show Is Based on an Eli Manning Character
The Chad Powers character was originated by Eli Manning, who donned a disguise to attend Penn State’s football walk-on tryouts.

The viral video delighted fans, especially when Manning’s identity was finally revealed.
“I’m just a 41-year-old who just wants to play ball,” he said. “I’m just trying to get back out there.”
The First ‘Chad Powers’ Trailer Has Arrived
