PHOTOS: Disney World President Jeff Vahle Celebrates the Opening of The Beak and Barrel
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that today is an exciting day in Disney World history!
After months of waiting, The Beak and Barrel has finally opened at Magic Kingdom, offering buccaneers from across the Seven Seas a place to relax and drink up in Adventureland.

While today is an exciting day for fans, it is even more special for the Cast Members who have been working tirelessly to bring The Beak and Barrel to life.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
With The Beak and Barrel officially open to guests, Walt Disney World president Jeff Vahle visited Magic Kingdom today to commemorate the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Taking to Instagram, Vahle congratulated the opening day team on the major milestone.

“Ahoy! đ´ââ ď¸ Three cheers for the opening crew of The Beak and Barrel! We are so proud of the teams who helped create an incredible immersive experience fit for a pirate. Congratulations, and thank you to everyone who had a hand (…or hook) in this fun addition to Adventureland,” he wrote.
