Uh-Oh! Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina is a Miss at This Year’s Festival
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog today, you know that we’re at the first day of the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.
This exciting festival runs daily from August 28 to November 22, and features an amazing selection of international foods and drinks.

We stopped by the Tangierine Cafe to sample a new menu item introduced for the festival.
Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina
The Tangierine Cafe is located at the Morocco Pavilion in the World Showcase.

The food menu features a selection of returning favorites, including the Chermoula chicken, Moroccan-spiced lamb, Plant-based falafel, Stone-baked Moroccan Bread, and Pistachio Cake.
Returning drinks include the Fig Cocktail and Keel Farms Blackberry-Pear Hard Cider.

The Tangierine Cafe also features new items this year, like the Moroccan Wrap with tomato-cucumber relish and garlic sauce served on warm Moroccan flatbread.
Two new ciders have also debuted: the Keel Farms Golden Apple Chai Hard Cider and Rhubarb, Orange, and Ginger Hard Cider.
MickeyBlog Review
This fan-favorite location offers some delicious offerings, and we dove right in with the Moroccan Wrap for $6.25. You can choose between Chermoula chicken, Moroccan spiced lamb, or plant-based falafel, and we tried the lamb–though not intentionally.

We were not fans of this. Though we ordered chicken, we couldn’t tell if it was actually lamb or falafel that was served. We went with it anyway, but the “meat” tasted overly processed and had a bad flavor.

The dish was definitely disappointing, so we may stick with a returning fave for next time. The one bonus for this location? You can enjoy your food inside, which is a nice break from the sun and heat.
Stay tuned and follow along with MickeyBlog to stay updated on this and all things Disney.
