Refreshment Outpost Has Something for Everyone at the 2025 Food & Wine Festival!
We’re eating our way through the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
The festival–which runs in the park through November 22nd–is full of exciting eats and drinks. (Giving you plenty of reasons to come back for more!)

- Berbere-spiced Beef Stew with sweet potato mealie pap and kachumbari slaw (New)
- IMPOSSIBLE Spicy Sausage with peri peri peppers and onions and plant-based peri peri aïoli on a sub roll (Plant-based)
- South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse with white chocolate ganache and chocolate-covered popping candy

Review
Let’s dig into the Berbere-spiced Beef Stew, which costs $6.75.
The beef stew is spicy, but the cucumber and tomato on top provide some relief. There’s a risotto-like portion at the bottom, which is also pretty good. (If you’re not a fan of heat, we recommend skipping this one.)

For $6.50, we got the Impossible Spicy Sausage, which was delicious, and its texture was very similar to the real thing. The “sausage” was full of flavor without being spicy, and the roll was surprisingly good for a festival item (not soggy, not dry).

To finish our meal, we got the South African Cream Liquer Chocolate Mousse for $6.25. If you’re familiar with the zebra domes in Animal Kingdom, this is pretty similar–just with chocolate mousse and less of the alcohol flavor.
The light mousse and the chocolate tart were our favorite parts of the treat. We highly encourage chocolate lovers to get this!
