France Delivers a Mixed Bag at the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
Bonjour à tous, et bienvenue à EPCOT!
More specifically, welcome to the very first day of the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! The birds are singing, the drinks are pouring, and — if you couldn’t tell from above — our MickeyBlog reporters have just stopped to visit one of the most popular marketplace kitchens the event has to offer.

2025 Festival Passport
Mais oui, it’s France!
France
Arguably one of the first countries we’d think of when discussing “food and wine,” the France pavilion at EPCOT is known for it’s delicious restaurants, French boulangerie, and even a ride centered around the art of cooking!
Unfortunately, however, the French booth at the annual Food & Wine Festivals has been something of a hit-or-miss situation as of late.

While our reporters weren’t too impressed by the booth’s fare last year, we were eager to see what was cooking this festival, so come with us to see what’s on offer!
Menu
Looking at the menu, we’re seeing a range of all-new food offerings available here at the festival this year, as well as some delectable drink pairings too.
Let’s start with the food, shall we?

Food
First on the menu is the Boeuf Bourguignon, Purée de Pommes de Terre. This delicious-sounding dish pairs red wine-braised short ribs with a light potato puree, and costs $8.95.

While this may not look like the most visually appetizing dish here at EPCOT, we’re excited to report that the bourguignon was excellent! The meat is so tender it falls apart with ease, and the rich gravy added such flavor to the creamy potatoes.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this one!

Next up, we’ve got a cheesy dish, the Brioche aux Epices Avec Une Garniture Mornay de Trois Fromages. This is a spiced brioche, stuffed with a three-cheese mornay filling, and it costs $8.50.

Unfortunately, this was the “miss” of the booth this year, as our reporters found the bread and filling rather lacking in flavor. Maybe one to pass on!

Up next, however, is the one you’ve been waiting for – the Trio d’Escargots, Garniture a l’ail et au Persil. This is a trio of escargot bites in a croissant dough, served with a garlic-parsley dip. Would you try this one out for $8.95?
Our reporters found this one just okay, with a good dip and fine croissant pastry. But, eating snails is always an experience!

Lastly, the dessert menu here at France this year is the Crème Brûlée Vanille, Confiture Myrtilles et Citron Vert – a vanilla crème brûlée finished with a blueberry-lime compote, for $6.95.
Our reporters described this dessert as “amazing.” The vanilla flavor was rich and decadent, making way to a lovely berry center. The sugar crust on top was delicious, and we loved how this had been flamed!

Drinks
In terms of beverages now, there are three options available on the France booth’s menu.
For cocktail seekers is the Chilled French Cosmo, blending Vodka with Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Grand Marnier Liqueur, and Simply Cranberry Juice for $14.95.
If wine is more to your tastes (after all Miss, this is France!), there’s the Instant Becot Bordeaux for $7.95, or the L’Oceade Atlantique Sauvignon Blanc for $6.95.

So, what do you think? Have we convinced you to visit the France marketplace kitchen on your next visit to EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival?
In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog, as we’ll be reviewing all the best eats and drinks from the festival, as well as sharing some top tips on how to make the most of your visit.
