WATCH: Tom Morrow 2.0 and His Iconic Car are Back For a New Episode of ‘Imagineer That!’
Late last week, we brought you the exciting news that Tom Morrow 2.0 was coming back to host a revival of the Imagineer That! on Walt Disney Imagineering’s YouTube channel.
For those who don’t know, or are not old enough to remember, Tom Morrow 2.0 was initially introduced in 2000 as the host of Innoventions at EPCOT.

Welcoming guests to the Road to Tomorrow, the mini-matronic became a fan-favorite EPCOT character and, for many, became synonymous with that era in park history.
‘Imagineer That!’ Is Back
In addition to his role at Walt Disney World, Tom Morrow 2.0 also hosted Imagineer That!, a Disney Channel series that gave fans a peek behind the curtain at Walt Disney Imagineering.

Last week, Imagineering shared a short video featuring Tom Morrow 2.0 being welcomed back by his friends and co-workers.
At the time, Disney announced that a new episode of Imagineer That!, hosted by Tom Morrow 2.0, would debut on August 25!
Well, it is my pleasure to announce that the first episode of the Imagineer That! titled How Do Imagineers Think Up New Rides? Has indeed arrived.
Where Has Tom Morrow 2.0 Been?
According to Disney, Tom Morrow has been retired in the halls of Walt Disney Imagineering since 2007.

With Imagineering busier than ever, however, the unit decided to bring Tom out of retirement.
“Well, Imagineers have been cooking up more magic than ever— with projects currently in development around the world. With so much going on, people have more questions than ever about what’s going on at Walt Disney Imagineering, so the Imagineers got to work on “rebooting the ol’ circuits” — their words, not mine—because I’m the right robot for the job,” the mini-matronic explained.

“A team of dreamers and doers from all over Imagineering assembled to bring me back online. First, they caught me up on what’s trending and what all the kids are saying these days. Then they teamed me up with our research and development techies to update my design and motion programming — aka, a system upgrade with extra charm installed.”

The first episode of Imagineer That! features Bruce Vaughn rebooting Tom Morrow 2.0, who quickly makes a Tiki Room reference and then claims he’s ready to head to Innoventions.
