Disney’s Animal Kingdom Is Also Celebrating
At Walt Disney World, Disney’s animal care specialists are celebrating World Princess Week by shining a spotlight on the real-world animals that inspired many of the princesses’ sidekicks.

Among the animals that will be highlighted over the course of the week are the Sumatran tiger (like Raja from Aladdin), spiny mouse (like Gus and Jacques from Cinderella), kunekune pigs (like Pua from Moana), and chameleon (like Pascal from Tangled).

“Learning more about these beloved sidekicks is a great reminder to care for our world,” animal care specialist Allie explains. “Just like the princesses do!”
