At Walt Disney Elementary, over 300 students and families were welcomed back to school with a surprise field day.
Kids, families, and teachers enjoyed crafts, face painting, lawn games, and a tasty lunch while Mickey, the Disney princesses, and Miguel joined in the fun.

By early afternoon, the spotlight turned to the Anaheim Police Department, where Officer Calvin Blue from Disney California Adventure showed up with “citations for good behavior.”
Alongside Chip ‘n’ Dale, Disney Ambassador Jada Young thanked officers for their service with tasty treats, fun photos ops, and special keepsakes.

Next came a lively dance party at Tiny Tots Academy, hosted at Brookhurst Community Center.
Fifty young kids and their families enjoyed games, music, ring toss, parachutes, and instrument play time before Mickey Mouse himself made a surprise visit.

As the 70 hours drew to a close, Glover Stadium set the stage for a Disney finale. During Katella High School’s first football game of the season, Disney VoluntEARS greeted fans with popcorn, sweets, and surprises.

Next, players ran through a spirit tunnel before kickoff, and Disney Ambassadors joined Mickey Mouse for the honorary coin toss. The halftime show brought everything together, with the Disneyland Band performing alongside the Katella High School band, cheerleaders, and dancers. It was the perfect way to end the three-day celebration.
Love for the Community
