The Muppets Will Make Their Long-Awaited Broadway Debut Alongside Magician Rob Lake
The Muppets may no longer have a home at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but the iconic troupe is still preparing to put on a show.
This holiday season, Kermit and the gang are heading to Broadway, where they will join magician Rob Lake for a limited run at the Broadhurst Theatre.
While the Muppets have previously conquered movies, television, and theme parks, the troupe has never appeared on Broadway. For years, there have been rumors that a Muppets Broadway show would materialize.

As it turns out, they just needed the right partner.
“I’ve been performing magic my entire life, and it has always been my greatest dream to perform my show on Broadway,” says Lake in a statement. “Like so many people around the world, I grew up with The Muppets. To work with them and create new illusions for them to appear in my show has been the most rewarding and surprisingly familiar moment. It’s like I have known them my entire life.”
The Fun Kicks Off on October 28
As of this writing, Lake has not announced which Muppets will be appearing on stage with him. Rob Lake Magic with Special Guests The Muppets will debut on October 28, with a grand opening on November 6. It will continue to run through January 18, 2026.
