Pixar Place Hotel Entrance Closing in 2026
There is a lot of change happening all across the Disney parks and resorts right now. Everything from attraction updates to smaller refreshes to major hotel changes and more.

Change is good, but there is a lot to keep up with! We just received an update today for the Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland that may have a small impact on your day.
Pixar Place Update

Disney shared that the Pixar Place Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure will be unavailable beginning Jan. 5, 2026, as they continue to optimize the arrival experience for guests. The entrance is closing with no plans to reopen.
If you are staying at the Pixar Place Hotel, you can still use the Disney California Adventure Park entrance, which is located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
More Refurbishments
This is just one of many updates happening across Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort has started room refurbishments at both Riverside and French Quarter. Though work has been completed at the French Quarter, the renovations will continue at Riverside.

Disney also announced that the Cabanas leisure pool at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be closing for routine maintenance from August 17 through August 24.

During the refurbishment, guests can still enjoy the Lost City of Cibola pool and the smaller Casitas and Ranchos leisure pools.
The guest rooms at Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village are also undergoing refurbishment from October 2025 to May 2026.

And looking ahead to 2026, there will be a refurbishment at Jambo House from May 2026 to January 2027.
