Disney Using Virtual Queue for The Beak and Barrel Reservations

Ok- we are trying this again!

If you follow along with MickeyBlog or attempted to make reservations last week, you know that guests were not able to get very far into the process.

Guests logged on early to secure their spots around 6 AM, when most new Disney World reservations typically open, only to come across error messages and technical difficulties.

The Beak and Barrel reservations were supposed to open, but it appears that the entire reservation system crashed, leaving guests confused and frustrated.

Disney updated the reservation date, and it looks like their system is for a (hopefully) smoother experience!

Virtual Queue

Disney has hopefully fixed its technical issues, and it appears they will be using a virtual queue:

It looks like The Beak and Barrel will have a virtual queue when reservations open at 7 p.m. ET tonight. When you use the app, you are taken to the website, where you must enter a captcha, and then you are led to the queue.

This is most likely due to the anticipated demand after last week’s struggles. Fingers crossed for a positive experience, and you can secure your spot!

Opening Soon

Remember! The grand opening of Magic Kingdom’s Beak and Barrel is fast approaching, and it is scheduled for August 29th.

In the last few weeks, we have shared information on the new pub’s opening date, the new food and drinks coming, the special merchandise, and more. The Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge will also be open during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
