New Documents Shed Light on Disneyland Paris’s Upcoming ‘Lion King’ Land
In April 2024, The Walt Disney Company revealed plans for the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris into Disney Adventure World.
This multi-year reimagining will introduce new areas, including World of Frozen, Worlds of Pixar, and an expanded Avengers Campus. Disney also shared that the park’s Studio 1 will be completely revamped, reopening as the World Premiere.
Months later, at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Josh D’Amaro took the stage and announced that a first-of-its-kind immersive world inspired by The Lion King was also coming to Disney Adventure World.

Needless to say, fans are excited.
More Details About the ‘Lion King’ Land Have Been Revealed
As Disney prepares to begin construction on the new Lion King land in earnest, the company has filed new documentation relating to the project.
The documents, filed under the name Project Sun, were shared by DLP Report. Looking over the latest papers, we can see that the new Lion King Land will sit next to Avengers Campus and will have an entrance directly on Adventure Bay.

Looking at the blueprints, it is also clear that the majority of the land will be used to house the new E-Ticket long flume attraction that will take fans through the story of The Lion King.
The rest of the land will be made up of a quick-service restaurant, bathrooms, and (maybe) meet and greet locations.
Finally, we can see that the Lion King land will utilize rock work to tell its story.

I, for one, can’t wait to see what Disneyland Paris does with the Lion King area and Disney Adventure World.
