Come With Us to the First Oogie Boogie Bash of 2025!
Hello from Disney California Adventure (DCA)!
There’s trouble brewing in the park…you can feel it transitioning into something villainous.

Headless Horseman – DCA
The Oogie Boogie Bash has taken over the park, filling DCA with wicked character encounters, not-so-spooky entertainment, terrifyingly tasty treats, and bone-chillingly cute merchandise.
We attended the first bash of 2025, and you know we’re filling you in on everything we did! So, without further delay, let’s explore the 2025 Oogie Boogie Bash!
Check-In
In-park check-in was located in-between Cars Land and Avengers Campus.

While Jack Skellington isn’t a character you can interact with at the party, we had to show off his new look in the Frightfully Fun Parade!
He received the updated look we recently saw at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the other coast.

Entertainment
The Frightfully Fun Parade floated through DCA at 7:50PM, and then again at 10PM. For exact showtimes during your party, be sure to check the event guide.
Here’s Jack in action in the parade:
Food
There are a few event-exclusive eats and drinks offered this year! We opted for the Carolina Loaded Tenders! They’re chicken tenders tossed in a Carolina BBQ sauce, pickle ranch, and diced pickles, served with shoestring fries.
We got them from Flo’s V8 Cafe for $14.99.

Merchandise
We took some time to shop through this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash merchandise! They have a spirit jersey…
…ears…
…a trick-or-treat bag…
…pins…
…shirts…
…and more!
The Mayor Sipper also debuted with the party! It’s an event-exclusive novelty item, sold at Smokejumpers Grill and several carts.
Just like the actual mayor, it has two faces! It’s $22.99 ($9 more than it is in Magic Kingdom).
