EVERYTHING You Need to Know About Oogie Boogie Bash 2025
A spooky villain is preparing to take over Disney California Adventure (DCA).

Oogie Boogie–and his annual Halloween bash–will return to the park on August 17th, spooking ticketed guests on select nights through October 31st.
Curious what tricks–and treats–are in store for party guests? Disney Parks Blog shared everything you need to know about this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash!
Oogie Boogie Bash
What’s Included
Your ticket includes admission into DCA as early as 3PM on your event night! The party runs from 6PM to 11PM, which means you get three extra hours–before the party starts–to enjoy the park.

You also receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the party. Just scan the QR code on your event wristband in the Disneyland app to access the gallery. (You can download them from your account up until 45 days after the event.)

You’ll also get a commemorative event guide! It’ll have useful information for the party and be a great way to remember it afterwards!
Costume Tips and Dress Code
While everyone is allowed to wear a costume at the Oogie Boogie Bash, it’s a good idea to brush up on the special event dress code. You can view the dress code here in the “Dressing for Special Events” section.

Treat Trails and Characters
Everyone can visit the treat trails to grab M&M’s, Skittles, Snickers, and more!
There are allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added options too–just ask a Cast Member!
There will also be unique opportunities to meet some characters in their Halloween outfits, and there will be rare sightings!

Frightfully Fun Parade
The Frightfully Fun Parade will run at the Oogie Boogie Bash at 7:45PM and 10PM on event nights!

If this parade is extremely important to you–and you’re also passionate about treats–we recommend booking the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party! For an additional fee, it comes with preferred seating for the parade, along with treats, beverages, and a pin.

Villains Grove
Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is a popular offering at the party! Walk through scenescapes featuring Disney Villains, full of lights, sounds, and those beloved baddies.

Shorter Ride Times
During party nights, ride times go way down, providing an amazing chance to ride tons of attractions!
Incredicoaster, Toy Story Midway Mania!, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark! are some good ones to knock out when ride times are low.
