Halloween Takes Over World of Disney at Disneyland Resort
Have you seen? It’s Halloween!
Over the past week, all kinds of not-so-scaries have taken over the Disney Parks and online. Stores are looking like a pumpkin patch of seasonal merch as we wait for more Halloween treats to join them, and us MickeyBloggers are delighted to see it!
Today, we’re over at the Downtown Disney District in the Disneyland Resort. Our spooky season senses have drawn us over to World of Disney, where it looks like the festivities have certainly taken hold! Come with us, and let’s go see what’s in-store…

A Spooky Store!
Well, how awesome is this storefront looking?
Walking up to World of Disney, we are instantly met with huge banners reading “Happy Halloween!”, shining above intricate window displays which certainly capture the excitement of the season.

Posters in the window feature dressed-up Mickey and Minnie celebrating the season in front of an eerie-looking Sleeping Beauty Castle, complete with pumpkins, a crystal ball, and a flurry of bat friends.
There’s even these funny jack-o-lanterns displayed in the window, which seem to remind us of some familiar faces!

However, the displays which never fail to capture our attention first have to be the ones which feature all this seasonal merchandise!
Apparel, accessories, collectibles and more… we simply can’t wait to step inside and see what treats are available in store…

World of Disney
Stepping into the shop, we’re instantly met by this impressive new display. Like a bat cave of festivity, there’s Halloween favorites everywhere we look!

Blue and orange lights shine down on this pile of Mickey-shaped pumpkins, with costumed character portraits hung on walls and Halloween cartoons flashing via projector onto the wall behind.
We love when World of Disney switches up their seasonal displays, and this wall has definitely got us swept up in that spooky spirit!

I mean, look! The decorations even reach the floor!

Merchandise
As hard as it may seem to tear our eyes away from all those pumpkins, we can’t visit World of Disney without a full browse of all the new wares available!
As expected, it’s Halloween heaven here right now, with ghoulish goodies at every turn.

Our first stop to admire was this pretty pink display of items from the new “Cutie Ghost” collection.
If you like your ghosties to have mouse ears, you’re in luck!

In stark contrast to that, we also saw this epic new bomber jacket, inspired by the Disney Villains!

We saw this over at the Magic Kingdom earlier this week, and are delighted to see it available here in Disneyland too. It cost $119.99, and would be great for the Halloween season!

Want to contrast the villains with some utter adorableness?
Look no further than this delightful Winnie the Pooh t-shirt, which cost $39.99.

Need a backpack to carry all that candy around?
Check out this one for size!

The gray, acid-wash-effect backpack features a grinning Mickey pumpkin on top, with orange trim bearing the “Disneyland Resort” logo.

There’s so many compartments to this handy backpack, that it’d be the perfect storage for all kinds of tricks and treats!
It cost $54.99, and even has a designated space to pop your ear headband!

There’s no such thing as a new Disney merchandise drop that doesn’t include a Spirit Jersey, right?
This season’s must-have is this navy blue number, which features a character-covered “Disneyland Resort” logo emblazoned across the back. We’re loving everyone’s costumes, and this costs $79.99.

Not a Spirit Jersey kinda person? Don’t worry – we also found this funky baseball jersey, which cost $74.99.
See that Mickey pumpkin? So cute!

Now, I know some of you out there might be busy scanning those shelves for a certain headgear accessory.
Don’t worry, we did see those infamous Mickey pumpkin headband plushes available here at World of Disney!
They’re just very, very, very popular. Here’s all that were left when we visited…

Wow!
If you are planning on doing a spot of shopping on your next World of Disney visit, you might like to take note of this fun offer. Any guest who spends $40 in a single transaction is eligible to purchase this beautiful Halloween tote bag for just $29.99!

Of course, this cute, reusable shopper is also available in-store as an alternative. This costs $5.99.

So, if you’re planning a visit to Downtown Disney between now and October, be sure to head on over to World of Disney to admire this epic new Halloween display.
You can’t miss those Mickey pumpkin-covered windows, and the merchandise inside is sure to tempt you, too!
In the meantime, we’ll look forward to having you visit us here at MickeyBlog.com, where we’ll be counting down the days to Halloween with all the best seasonal treats, eats, merch and more at the Disney Parks.
