Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Brings Music, Magic, and New Series Announcements to Disneyland Resort
Disney Jr. is bringing big fun to little fans with the “Disney Jr. Let’s Play!” event happening this weekend.
The three-day celebration combines imagination, music, and your favorite characters at Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney District.

The festivities kicked off Friday, Aug. 8, at Disney California Adventure Park with sneak peeks of upcoming series, live entertainment, and hands-on activities.
Fans experienced plenty of high-energy fun! Highlights included the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party, special stage shows, and meet-and-greets with favorite Disney Jr. friends.

During the event, Disney shared some exciting news for preschool viewers:
- Cars: Lightning Racers is coming soon, with Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy returning as Lightning McQueen and Mater.
- Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends will introduce the Avengers to the preschool audience for the first time.
- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ will continue with two more seasons, welcoming a new generation to the iconic Clubhouse.

The fun continues on Saturday, Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 10, when the celebration continues at Downtown Disney District.
Families can enjoy themed photo spots before shopping for exclusive merchandise at World of Disney. Then, they can check out the “Let’s Play!” Bubbles Experience at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and lawn.

This event is part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, where guests can also experience limited-time food, drinks, and amazing entertainment.
