Disneyland Resort Welcomes Thousands for Annual CHOC Walk
The Disneyland Resort was filled with walkers and plenty of emotion as thousands gathered for the annual CHOC Walk in the Park. The event raises funds for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

The early morning event drew large and enthusiastic crowds ready to celebrate hope and healing while supporting unique programs and services.

“This walk was really filled with that,” said Disneyland Resort Ambassador Jada Young. “We had some special guests. We had some fun friends that our guests and walkers got to take photos with. We had some fun music. You could see the balloons. We were cheering them on. It was the best time.”

Participants walked through a three-mile course through Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. The day was filled with smiles, music, cheers, and heartfelt moments.
A Special Partnership
CHOC and Disneyland have had a relationship that spans decades, beginning when Walt Disney was part of the original board.

Since its beginning more than 30 years ago, the CHOC Walk has raised over $46 million.
The funds directly support CHOC’s health system. These programs include raising awareness and support for mental health initiatives, pediatric research, and family assistance.

Young reflected on the personal significance of the event. “I’ve actually had my own personal journey with the CHOC Walk… now as Disney ambassador, I’m representing our cast, representing Disneyland, and getting to welcome all the guests.”
Disney is grateful for the continued partnership with the CHOC Walk and looks forward to the opportunity to continue to celebrate and make magic together.
