TODAY: Excessive Heat Warning is Issued for Walt Disney World
Today is a great day to visit Walt Disney World, but it is going to be hot…really hot. The parks are still busy with guests and families visiting for summer vacation fun, and you will want to be careful with these temperatures.
If you are lucky enough to be at WDW today, take precautions to stay cool and beat the heat.
Excessive Heat Warning in Effect

An excessive heat warning has been issued for multiple counties in Florida, including Orange County and the Walt Disney World Resort, as temperatures and humidity levels rise across Central Florida.
The advisory is in effect from 12:000 PM today to 7:00 PM EDT. Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values between 110°F-115°F are expected.
This is a major to extreme heat risk that continues through the next few days:

Hot temperatures and high humidity can cause heat-related illnesses, so Central Floridians and Disney guests need to be prepared.
