Guests will enter the Lower Lobby and Theater Galleries to view a curated collection honoring one of Disney’s most influential visual stylists and a legend.
Mary Blair’s vivid designs are seen in Cinderella (1950), Alice in Wonderland (1951), Peter Pan (1953), and the beloved It’s a Small World attraction. Her work includes watercolor, ink, collage, and ceramics, with each piece revealing her bold use of color and imaginative storytelling. She has a distinctive style that Disney fans will immediately recognise.

Over 150 original works and photographs are featured, showcasing Blair’s amazing impact on Disney animation and theme park design.
The exhibit highlights both her studio contributions and independent art with a legacy that stretches from Hollywood to theme parks around the world.

This exhibition is perfect for fans and a fantastic chance to see Blair’s influence on Disney’s golden age of animation.
The exhibit is located at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco. Originally constructed in 1897 as an Army barracks, the iconic building houses some of the most interesting (and fun) museum exhibitions in the US.
