Woman Arrested at Magic Kingdom After Parade Spot Scuffle
While Walt Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth, every so often, a story comes across our desk that is distinctly not magical
For example, a woman was arrested at Magic Kingdom on Monday after an altercation on Main Street, U.S.A.
Orange County deputies took Martha Lucia Zapata-Echeverri into custody after an incident that resulted in the injury of a 17-year-old girl.

Here is what we know.
The Incident in Question
On Monday, the young victim was standing on the sidewalk along Main Street while waiting for Festival of Fantasy to be performed when Zapata-Echeverri put her hand on her to make space.
According to the police report, the teen told the woman not to touch her.

The incident occurred at Magic Kingdom.
Later, when the victim moved back to let another guest pass by, Zapata-Echeverri allegedly grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away. This action caused a bruise and abrasion.
Zapata-Echeverri later told investors that she was following her daughter in the crowd when the teenager pushed her and claimed it was “her spot.”

Police say the woman explained how she pushed back with her left arm, but was unable to explain how the push would cause the injuries suffered by the victim.
Zapata-Echeverri Was Arrested
As the teen was the only one injured and there was no witness or surveillance footage to review the event, Zapata-Echeverri was arrested and taken to Orange County jail.
She is now facing child abuse charges.
