In addition to Cool Kid Summer, which is continuing to roll along, Test Track 3.0 is now welcoming guests at EPCOT. Meanwhile, over at Magic Kingdom, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away has made its highly anticipated debut.
Needless to say, this is an exciting time.

Despite all the festive fun unfolding across the resort, guests may need to take extra precautions when visiting Disney World’s parks today, as it is expected to be extremely hot.
A Heat Advisory Has Been Issued
With temperatures expected to reach the mid-90s in Central Florida this afternoon, the National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Heat Advisory.

Cinderella Castle
The new advisory covers Lake, Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Okeechobee, Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties and will take effect at 12:00 PM ET.
According to the National Weather Service, the heat index is expected to get as high as 108 to 112 degrees.

The Heat Advisory will remain in effect until 6 PM ET tonight, when temperatures are expected to cool down.
How Will the Heat Impact Disney World Guests
While the Heat Advisory will not impact Walt Disney World operations, guests are advised to take some extra precautions. When visiting the parks, be sure to stay hydrated and apply plenty of sunscreen.

Additionally, with both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon open simultaneously, it is a great day to visit the water parks!
