Heat Advisory Issued for Disney World Today
It’s no surprise that Disney World is a very hot place in the summer. It is located in Florida, after all!

However, there are times when the heat is worse than you would expect. And that includes right now!
Heat Advisory for Disney World
A heat advisory is in effect for the Orlando area from 12PM to 6PM today. The heat index is supposed to be up to around 108 degrees.

Right now, looking at the temperatures at Disney World, it doesn’t seem that unusual — the high is 93 and the low is 77. But, the feels like is what’s making it feel extra hot!
The feels like in Orlando right now is 103 degrees, even though it’s technically only 89 degrees.
If you’re in the parks today, this is a great reminder that you absolutely need to be prepared! Take regular breaks in the air conditioning, keep drinking water, replenish your electrolytes, use a portable fan if you have one, wear breathable clothing, and don’t push yourself.
Florida heat is a different beast than most of the country, so take it seriously!
