We talk a lot about planning Disney World trips around here, but another important thing to consider is the packing for your trip! It’s important to be prepared when you walk into a Disney park because you never know what could happen.

Magic Kingdom
I’m going to break down some items that you don’t necessarily HAVE to have in your park bag, but I can promise you that your trip will be way better if you do carry these items. Let’s go!
10 Things That Will Make Your Next Disney World Trip Waaay Better
PopSocket
Listen, once you put a PopSocket on your phone, you’ll never go back. You will be using your phone a LOT in Disney World to look at the My Disney Experience app and take photos and videos, and these things help out so much!

It’s way easier to take stabilized photos or use your phone one-handed while walking around the parks with this extra grip. It’s also a great way to prop your phone up so little ones can watch something on it if they need a distraction while at a sit down meal or something.

I’ve found one that is magnetic, so it’s not permanently on your phone or phone case, that way you can remove it when you don’t want to use it and snap it right back on when you do! Just make sure you have one of the newer iPhones that has the magnetic backing for this to work. Get it right here for $19.98!
Electrolyte Packs
You might not think you’ll need electrolyte packs at Disney World, but they will make your life so much better! Staying hydrated is absolutely essential while in the parks and it can be hard to do with just water.

You will be sweating a lot, exercising by walking around, and eating foods that are likely not the best nutritionally. All of these things can dehydrate you and require you to replenish your electrolytes, which is why these little packs are perfect!

They’re super easy to stick in your bag and dump in a water bottle. This is also highly recommended if you plan to drink some alcohol while you’re in the parks! Get a pack of 8 right here for $14.99.
Mini Sunscreen
Everyone knows that sunscreen is essential when you’re at Disney World (yes, even in the winter!) and you should be wearing it every day. But, you should also be reapplying it throughout the day, especially in that hot Florida sun!

That’s why a mini sunscreen is great to have on hand so you can easily reapply without it taking up a bunch of room or adding too much weight to your park bag! Trust me, your dermatologist will thank you.

Get this sunscreen right here for $11.49!
Portable Fan
Most of the battle of being at Disney World is just trying to fight the heat. Finding ways to stay cool is incredibly important!
A portable fan is a great option to have with you, but specifically I recommend the ones you can wear around your neck so you don’t have to hold them. Here’s one you wear on a lanyard that blows air up at your face and is adjustable for $12.98.

And, there’s another one you wear around your neck and closer to your face that will blow air up at you. Even just having moving air blown on you when you’re waiting in long lines can make you feel a lot better! Get it here for $26.99.

Pepto Chews
Stomach issues happen, and that’s okay! But, you shouldn’t let it ruin your trip, which is why it’s important to have something easily on hand to help you out.

These Pepto Chewables are my favorite because they’re small and portable, unlike the liquid version of the medicine. They also work relatively quickly.

The food and drinks are delicious in Disney World, but they can definitely wreak havoc on more sensitive stomachs, so just be prepared! Get a 48-count of Pepto Chewables right here for $7.49.
Cheap Sunglasses
Listen, if you want to bring your good, more expensive sunglasses to Disney World, I am not one to stand in the way of your eyewear goals. But, having a cheap pair to wear in the parks is a very good idea, and I’ll tell you why.

Photo: Amazon
Your sunglasses will likely go through some wear and tear in the parks. They’ll slip out of your hand, they’ll fall to the ground, they’ll get thrown in your bag quickly, they might even fall off and get lost while you’re on a ride.

So, having a cheap pair that you don’t really care about is the way to go. Both of these pairs are still polarized and stylish, so you won’t have to compromise! Get the first ones right here for $16.90, and the second pair right here for $15.99.
Tiger Balm
I cannot tell you the amount of times Tiger Balm has saved the day for me in Disney World. Being on your feet for 10+ hours hurts your body if you’re not used to it!

Photo: Amazon
For me, my back gets super tight standing and walking so much throughout the day, so this stuff is a lifesaver! It’s also super small so it fits easily in a bag (unlike some of the other options), long lasting, and a little goes a long way.
Just absolutely make sure you wash your hands after using this stuff and do not rub your eyes! Get Tiger Balm right here for $9.90.
Mini Hand Sanitizer
You should definitely have hand sanitizer in your bag when you’re at Disney World, because you are touching surfaces that thousands of other people are also touching.

Photo: Amazon
Washing with soap and water is obviously the best option, but I like to have hand sanitizer to use right before I eat since a sink isn’t always the most convenient option.
These spray ones are great because they’re compact and they last a long time! They also smell better than the typical gel ones people use and they’re easy to share with others. Get one right here for $5.99!
Portable Charger
Like I said earlier, you will be using your phone a lot in Disney World, so your battery will likely get run down. Taking pictures and videos especially can drain your battery!

Photo: Amazon
There are places to plug in a charger around the parks, but a portable one is the best way to recharge! That way, you can walk around while your phone is charging and you don’t have to pause your day.

It’s also nice to not have a long chord to deal with in your park bag! Get this one right here for $15.99.
Mini Aquaphor
Aquaphor is one of my holy grail products — I genuinely would be lost without it. The healing ointment can be used for SO many different things, like chapped lips, minor cuts, dry skin, minor burns, diaper rash, and more.

Photo: Amazon
That’s why it’s important to carry it around with you in the parks! And, since the normal size is huge, I’ve found a mini version that will easily fit in your park bag while still making an impact (a little goes a long way!).
Your skin might get dry from traveling, especially air travel, and your lips can definitely get chapped running around in the heat of Disney World all day, so it’s a great thing to have on hand! Get this two pack right here for $6.49!
