WATCH: A Cavalcade of Characters Board the Disneyland Railroad to Celebrate the Park’s 70th Anniversary
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that July 17 was an unforgettable day in Disney history.
As Disneyland officially celebrated 70 years of magic, memories, and more, the resort came alive with new attractions, unique festivities, and a showcase of what makes Disney’s original park, The Happiest Place on Earth.
Throughout the day, we saw the debut of The Last Verse on “it’s a small world,” the opening of Walt Disney — A Magical Life, plenty of commemorative snacks and merchandise, and a few surprises along the way.

In the clip, dozens of Disney characters board the Disneyland Railroad to prepare for the park’s opening festivities.
As you will see, it was a star-studded affair with Disney Princesses, heroes, villains, and dwarfs finding a seat aboard the iconic Disneyland attraction and getting ready to celebrate with guests.
