NEW Lyrics Debut at “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom!
There is almost always something new to look forward to at Disney World! Recently, we’ve seen the introduction of a new lounge, an updated attraction set to debut, and a new store.

And today, there is a new addition to a classic, iconic attraction over in Magic Kingdom! Let’s take a look.
New Lyrics at “it’s a small world”
The new lyrics have debuted at “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom!
They can be heard during the finale scene of the ride, and go as follows:
“Mother Earth unites us in heart and mind
And the love we give makes us humankind
Through our vast, wondrous land
When we stand hand in hand
It’s a small world after all.”
This is the only verse that plays in the last room of the attraction after the main chorus. Keep your ears peeled!

This update to the finale scene is meant to add to the attraction’s legacy and further the song’s meaning. Gregg Sherman, son of Richard Sherman, explained that the new verse is intended to “celebrate that there’s more that unites us than divides us, and reinforce the message of that song.”
You can also hear the new verse without visiting the attraction! You can listen to the digital single wherever you listen to music, AKA streaming platforms like Apple Music or Spotify.
