CHANGES Coming to the Menu at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Disney World
The dining options at Disney World are extensive — there are small kiosks with iconic snacks, fine dining restaurants with multiple courses, and everything in between. And, some of the most popular spots look like you walked right into a Disney movie!

That’s the case with Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom, and we just learned about some changes coming to the popular eatery!
New Dishes at Be Our Guest
Disney just shared that some new food items are coming to Be Our Guest Restaurant starting tomorrow, July 16th! These include completely new items as well as some changes to existing items.

Be Our Guest restaurant
Be Our Guest is a restaurant with a prix fixe menu that is $72 per adult and $43 per child. You get to choose an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert for each person.

The restaurant is located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom and is themed to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Be Our Guest includes three different dining rooms that you can enjoy while eating a French-inspired meal — The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing, and The Rose Gallery.

You also get to meet and greet with the Beast himself at the end of your meal!

Let’s talk about the brand new food items coming to the menu first! A new appetizer will be the Endive and Walnut Salad, which has Roquefort, green apple, radicchio, and champagne vinaigrette.

A new entrée on the menu is the Pan-Roasted Arctic Char! This comes with roasted potatoes, charred tomatoes, shaved fennel, and citrus-caper brown butter.

There are also two new desserts. The desserts here either come in a trio or you can get the plant based option, so we assume both of these new desserts will be replacing two of the current ones in the trio.
The first is the Crème Brûlée Tart, which has orange custard, passion fruit meringue, and chantilly cream.

And, the second is the Blooming Rose, which is a chocolate cake topped with “The Grey Stuff.”

Now, let’s look at the changes coming to the existing dishes!
First up is the French Onion Soup au Gratin, which has rich beef broth, sherry wine, and Swiss cheese. The only change here is that the soup comes with Swiss cheese instead of Gruyère, although Gruyère is a type of Swiss cheese.

Next, the Mixed Greens Salad will now be plant-based and have tomato, cucumber, and a dijon vinaigrette. Before, it had a goat cheese mousse and roasted tomato vinaigrette dressing.

For entrées, there are some changes made to the Poulet Rouge Chicken — it will now have roasted potatoes, stewed pepper pipérade, and sweet corn velouté. Previously, it came with sweet potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and whole-grain mustard sauce.

Finally, Disney is listing the Steak Frites as having changed or acting like it’s new on the menu, but both descriptions are the same on the current menu and on the one coming tomorrow. The Steak Frites is a slow-roasted butcher’s steak, house-cut french fries, and red wine sauce.
We’ll have to see if anything is different on the menu when the changes are implemented!
