A Flood Watch Warning Has Been Issued For Walt Disney World
Earlier this morning, we brought you the news that the National Hurricane Center was closely watching a system off Florida’s Atlantic coast.
The fear was that the system could strengthen into the season’s next tropical depression or named storm.
As the possible storm looms, Central Florida has been experiencing wet conditions, including widespread showers and potential thunderstorms.

Now, we are back with another update.
A Flood Warning Has Been Issued
The National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida, has now issued a Flood Watch from 9:57 AM ET until 8:00 PM.
The new watch covers east central Florida, including Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. That area also encompasses Walt Disney World.

Currently, the National Weather Service is warning that excessive rainfall could lead to flooding. No other weather warnings have been issued.
What This Means For Disney Guests
So, if you are visiting Walt Disney World, make sure to prepare for wet conditions. It is expected to rain intermittently throughout the day and continue into the week.

At this time, Disney has not announced any operational changes due to the weather. Obviously, however, outdoor attractions will close if it begins to rain and storm. Additionally, resort pools and other water activities will be affected.
As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.

We will continue to monitor the weather situation and pass along any updates as they become available.
