Walt Disney Archives Unveils Magical Props, Puppets, and More!
D23 kicked off its brand-new Spotlight Series this year, partnering with divisions across The Walt Disney Company, including the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Imagineering.

The result is a popular collection of immersive and in-person fan events that dive deeper into Walt Disney history.
This exciting initiative takes fans behind the scenes into the beloved stories and magic, with topics ranging from the evolution of Indiana Jones attractions to an incredible celebration of the Walt Disney Archives’ 55th anniversary. D23 fans at Walt DIsney World recently got a treat as Disney Imagineers shared an extraordinary glimpse into Disney’s past.
Latest Spotligt Series
The most recent Spotlight Series event was held last month at Walt Disney World Resort, and attendees got a rare glimpse at iconic props, puppets, and costume pieces from the Archives.

How cool are these pieces? The stunning collection celebrated Disney’s rich storytelling legacy and its influence across generations of fans with Rizzo the Rat’s Mickey Costume, an original Robin Muppet, and a Figment merchandise display.
These new pieces were just added to the collection, and D23 gold members were the first to see them. It’s just one of the perks of being a Disney fan.
