Tragedy struck on July 6, 2019, when Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce unexpectedly passed away at the age of 20 after suffering an epileptic seizure.
Boyce was one of Disney’s rising stars, having portrayed Luke Ross on Jessie from 2011 through 2015. His other Disney credits included Jake and the Neverland Pirates, where he gave voice to the show’s titular star, and Disney XD’s Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything.

At the time of his passing, however, Boyce was best known for playing Cruella de Vil’s son Carlos in the Disney Descendants franchise. After originating the role in 2015’s Descendants, Boyce would return as Carlos for Descendants: Wicked World and Descendants 2.
