Tiana’s Joyful Celebration Is Coming to a City Near You!
There are so many great ways to experience Tiana at the parks! From the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction to character meet-and-greets, themed merchandise, and tasty bites.
But now, there is another way for fans to meet this Disney Princess, and the magic is heading beyond the bayou.
Get ready to cue up the zydeco tunes because Tiana’s Joyful Celebration is hitting the road as a brand-new traveling exhibition. First stop? The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in March 2026!
New and Immersive Experience

Walt Disney Imagineering and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis are partnering together to bring Tiana’s story to life in an immersive, interactive museum experience called Tiana’s Joyful Celebration.
This traveling exhibit celebrates community, culture, and creativity as guests help Tiana throw the ultimate Mardi Gras parade.

The experience kicks off at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis on March 7, 2026, before heading out on a 12-city national tour in 2027. That’s great news- whether you’re a local or looking to plan a family road trip, you’ll have the chance to check out this joyous celebration.

This past weekend at the Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, executives from Walt Disney Imagineering and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis announced this fantastic collaboration to continue bringing Princess Tiana’s story to life.

The Essence Festival of Culture is an annual celebration of African American culture and music, held in New Orleans every summer. Disney revealed two additional concept sketches highlighting the immersive fun guests will have when the exhibition launches.

Inside the exhibit, families will step into Tiana’s neighborhood and discover that the special parade is starting sooner than expected! Everyone will have to pitch in to get ready in time.
Guests will help create decorations, prep food, assemble costumes, and even join in on the music, all while learning about the vibrant people and traditions of New Orleans.

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is the largest children’s museum in the world. It has five floors of exhibits, an outdoor sports experience, and fan-favorites like Dinosphere, home to real dinosaur fossils!
