There are so many great Disneyland restaurants, from hidden gems to iconic must-visits. Today, we are checking out one of our favorites for an updated afternoon lunch. Join us at Carthay Circle Restaurant.
The Lunch Experience
Carthay Circle Restaurant is located in Disney California Adventure on the second floor of the historic Carthay Circle Theatre.
The interior is the perfect blend of timeless details and Golden Age glamour, with a comfortable and elegant vibe.

We stopped by to check out the summer menu and visit for lunch, which is available Friday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
This is a two-course prix-fixe menu: $59 for adults and $19 for children, and includes one starter and one entrée.
Carthay Circle
We started with the Farmers Market Stone Fruit & Burrata Toast, and it did not disappoint.
This refreshing appetizer featured prosciutto, tomato compote, and a perfectly creamy burrata. The sweetness of the stone fruit balanced nicely with the saltiness of the prosciutto, making it light and summery.
Carthay Circle
For our Entrée, we chose the Gochujang-Honey Glazed Shrimps, and this dish was great.
Well-cooked shrimp was served over kimchi fried rice with crispy hijiki, cashews, and a poached egg. The shrimp were fresh, the glaze had just enough spice without overwhelming the dish, and the rice was hearty. It was satisfying without being too filling, and we would definitely get it again.
