New Magic Kingdom Extended Evening Hours Added This September
With the kickoff of Cool Kid Summer late last month, things have begun to heat up at Magic Kingdom.
Over the past several weeks, we have seen new dance parties emerge, characters flood the park, and a variety of unique experiences unfold.

Things will kick into high gear on July 20, 2025, when Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away makes its highly anticipated debut at the park.

Originally announced at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, the new procession will build on the legacy of the Main Street Electrical Parade while also using the latest technology to tell classic Disney stories.
“Disney Starlight is a constellation of Disney dreams brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy,” show director Tara Anderson explained last year.

Another Magic Kingdom Extended Evening Hours Date
In anticipation of the new procession’s arrival at Magic Kingdom, Disney will extend the park’s hours. Due to this operational change, Extended Evening Hours will be relocated from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, effective July 2.
Extended Evening Hours in Magic Kingdom
As we previously reported, the fan-favorite perk will return to the park on August 13. Now, Disney has added another extended Evening Hours date to the calendar.
On September 3, 2025, Magic Kingdom will remain open from 10 PM until 12 AM for Extended Evening Hours.
As always, the perk will be available to guests staying in Deluxe Disney World hotels and other select resorts.
