There are fireworks, dance parties, historic exhibits, and more. Let’s check out all of the fun offerings and the best ways to celebrate Independence Day at Walt Disney World.
Fourth of July Fireworks and Parties
Nothing says the Fourth of July like a fireworks display, and Disney is just the best.

Head to Magic Kingdom to experience “Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.”
This will be offered on July 3 and 4 at 9:20 PM. Fans will love the amazing show above the Cinderella Castle as they are immersed in patriotic music and special effects.

Keep the party going! From 7 to 10 PM, dance parties are happening all around the park.

If you are a Disney foodie, this is a great time to experience patriotic treats and flavors.
From June 29 to July 5, indulge in returning favorites like the barbecue pulled chicken sandwich in the Regal Eagle Smokehouse.

Or check out some of these other red, white, and blue treats coming to the parks.
Be Inspired by History
America is honored at the parks all year round, and there are some great ways to commemorate its history.
Since 1971, Magic Kingdom has hosted the daily flag retreat as a celebratory tribute to US veterans. This event honors our heroes and occurs nightly.
Keep your eyes open for more history on Main Street. Inspired by Walt Disney’s home in Marceline, Missouri, Main Street offers a nostalgic glimpse of historic America.
And don’t forget to check out the patriotic melodies and inspiring performances of the Voices of Liberty.
On July 4, the talented singers have an exclusive performance, “Voices of Liberty: Echoing the Sound of America.” This special performance features unforgettable melodies inspired by your favorite American songs.

Don’t Miss Portraits of Courage

This special exhibit from the George W. Bush Institute has been extended through 2026. “Ports of Courage: A Commander-in-Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors” reflects President Bush’s personal commitment to military veterans and the ongoing work of the Bush Institute’s Veteran and military families program.
The exhibit includes 60 vibrant oil paintings by President Bush.
Fourth of July Resort Fun
Embrace the spirit of this holiday all season long when staying at the Select Disney Resort Collection hotels. Character appearances, campfires, sing-alongs, and Movies under the Stars are just part of the fun.

Guests staying along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake can also watch the nightly Electrical Water Pageant. This star-spangled event is a great way to unwind after a day in the parks.
Guests will want to be sure to capture the fun with a special photo! From July 3 to July 6, a limited-time patriotic-themed Disney PhotoPass Magic shots will be available across the resort.
