Disneyland Refurbishments: What’s Closing and When?
This is an exciting time for Disneyland Resort as it continues to celebrate its 70th anniversary! However, if you are visiting anytime soon, you will want to make sure you are up-to-date on any attraction closures.

A number of attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are temporarily closing for seasonal refurbishments and updates.
Here’s a look at what’s closing this summer.
Refurbishment Closures

The following attractions will be closed:
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be the first to go dark, beginning Monday, June 30. It’s currently listed as closed through at least August 7.

At Disney California Adventure, the Pixar Pal-A-Round will undergo a short seasonal refurbishment from July 14 to 24.

The Main Street Cinema will close briefly on July 15 and 16 to install a new tribute to the Sherman Brothers.

Additional closures begin July 21, including Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at DCA and Storybook Land Canal Boats at Disneyland.

Disney California Adventure

The Incredicoaster and Casey Jr. Circus Train will temporarily close on July 28 until at least August 7.

Matterhorn Bobsleds remains closed following a refurbishment that began in early May. A reopening date has not yet been announced.
Stay Updated
From major updates to routine refreshes, these refurbishments are part of keeping the magic alive and the parks looking their best.
The best way to stay up-to-date is to continue checking the Disneyland calendar. As of today, the information is available through August 7.
